All I do is travel.

I met Stanley in the standup kitchen of my 2 room home/office and manufacturing headquarters. As I melted large quantities of soap (ultimately to be poured into some crude molds) on my portable burner, I described my vision of retail stores selling my bars of soap stuffed with toys or a duck’s body upside down so the legs would stick out. A vision but no plan; no path. Together we worked that afternoon, drawing my Picasso. Stanley was referred by a friend of a friend. Over the 7 years I was in business, he was the small business person’s advisor and conscience. From that initial meeting until I sold my business, he was monitoring the plan. He assisted by establishing personnel policies; reviewing insurance coverages and related employee benefits; negotiated my warehouse leases; structured the sale of my business to my tax benefit. I have had only one accountant-Stanley Cohen

We have known each other for 30+years. He is my accountant and was my partner. I like simple operations and love to work with my customers. Using my strengths, I continue to succeed while admitting that I am not a numbers person. I have relied on Stanley to be sure my margins were in place and my expenses were within reason. Sales and marketing direction are my doing. Thus I count on Stanley to keep my income taxes within reason. Today, I am operating my 5th business because of our partnership. We have designed a plan for my path to retirement and I try to stay within the boundaries watching for the bumps that are out there.
